Kristen’s theatrical works began in high school, when she wrote a comedy for a Renaissance Faire about a princess, a prince, and a swordfighting dragon. Beyond the occasional script or choreography for parties, she writes plays, musicals, short sketches and other playful and experimental media.

- Be Mused won the first annual Flash Mob Play Contest by the Aluminous Collective. Directed by Michael French, it was performed at the Lake Merritt pergola in 2016.
- The Dirndl Diaspora, written for Oakland’s Oaktoberfest celebration, is supported by grants from the Dimond Improvement Association in 2020.
